The Katana is the traditional weapon of the Samurai warrior of Japan. These weapons were highly prized for their beauty, strength, and durability. The feel of this sword in hand and in motion is much different from the European style swords. By comparing the feel of the Katana in motion with a "Knight Sword" gives a sense of the different armed martial arts styles between east and west. It has a nice light ringing sound as it strikes or parries.
The 7075 aluminum alloy blade makes this a very durable weapon. The steel hilt components give this sword excellent weight and balance characteristics.
